A thought enters the room.

It is quiet at first. A colour, a feeling, a small current of possibility.

Then the idea finds a body.

Direction gives it character. Design gives it shape. Nothing is added without a reason.

The frame becomes a doorway.

A website stops being a page and starts becoming a place people can enter.

Movement makes it feel alive.

Scroll, touch, rhythm, response. Technology disappears and the experience remains.

The wind isn’t real. The experience is.

Everything we make starts as a single image. Not a moodboard and not a system — one picture that decides what the rest is allowed to be.

The subject breaks the expected frame.

The shark is inside the frame and through it at the same time. That is the brief for every site we build: work out what the frame is supposed to be, then let the thing that matters come through it.

The work is the thing nobody sees.

A gallery with no exhibition pages. A ceramicist whose pots are in a folder, not on the site. We design outward from the work, so the page looks like the thing it is there to sell.

There is no way to ask.

No prices, no dates, no route to a person without hunting for an address. Both projects on this wall grew enquiries by fixing exactly that, and nothing else.

It falls apart on a phone.

Most people meet your work one-handed, in daylight, on a screen the width of a postcard. That is the first screen we draw, not the last one we check.

It looks like everyone else.

A template makes a printmaker look like an accountancy firm. Art direction is the part that stops your website being swappable with the studio down the road.

These worlds don't exist.
The experience does.
